Join the Compass for Change!

Are you part of an organization working for social justice and progressive change in New York City? If so, then you should join the Compass for Change! When you fill out the information for our profile generator and making your organization a part of the Compass directory, your group becomes a member organization and will be able to take full advantage of the other tools being developed for the Compass. By joining the directory and keeping your profile up to date, you also help support and sustain the Compass by making it a more comprehensive, useful and timely tool.

We invite all activist and community organizations working for progressive social change in New York City to join the Compass for Change directory. Service organizations with a clear social justice agenda are also invited to join. While signing up for this directory, your information will also be submitted to the Ya-Ya Network's directory, which will focus on providing youth with information about resources, services and activism in New York City.

The Compass for Change is intended for use in struggles against all forms of oppression and the systems of privilege that sustain them. Therefore, we invite Compass users to join with us in support of the struggles of people of color, women, immigrants, low income folks, youth, the elderly, lesbian/gay/bisexual/queer people, trans and genderqueer folks, people who are differently abled, and all others who face oppression and discrimination.

After filling out the profile generation questionnaire, your information will be sent to the Compass staff for review. After we approve your questionnaire, your group's information will appear in the directory and you will be able to access and special features developed for the Compass website.
